Welcome to BangleCart. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.banglecart.in and any purchase you make from us.
By visiting, browsing or purchasing from our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, Refund & Return Policy and Shipping Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our website.
In these Terms, "BangleCart", "we", "us" and "our" refer to BangleCart, operating from Building No. 9, Pragati Market, Ashok Vihar, Phase II, Delhi – 110052, India. "You" and "your" refer to the user or customer.
1. Eligibility
By using this website you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or that you are accessing it under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
2. Our Products
BangleCart sells artificial fashion jewellery and related accessories.
Please note:
- All jewellery sold is imitation / fashion jewellery. It is not solid gold, solid silver, or set with natural precious stones, unless a product page states otherwise in those exact terms.
- Terms such as "gold-tone", "gold-plated", "silver-tone", "silver-plated", "American Diamond", "AD" and "CZ" describe finish and appearance, not precious-metal or precious-stone content.
- "Anti-tarnish" describes a protective coating that slows tarnishing under normal care. It does not mean the item can never tarnish. Longevity depends on usage, skin chemistry, humidity and care.
- Product photographs are taken under studio lighting. Actual colour, tone, finish and size may vary slightly from what appears on your screen, due to photography, lighting and display differences.
- Handcrafted and hand-set items may show minor variation between pieces. This is a characteristic of the product, not a defect.
- Measurements stated are approximate and may carry a small tolerance.
3. Product Care and Suitability
Artificial jewellery requires care. To maximise its life:
- Remove before bathing, swimming, exercising or sleeping
- Avoid contact with water, perfume, deodorant, lotion, cosmetics and cleaning chemicals
- Store dry, in the pouch or box provided, away from other metals
- Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after each use
Damage arising from failure to follow reasonable care instructions is not treated as a manufacturing defect.
Skin sensitivity: while our products are made from commonly used, skin-friendly base metals, individual reactions vary. If you have known metal allergies or highly sensitive skin, please test carefully before extended wear. BangleCart is not liable for allergic or skin reactions.
4. Pricing
- All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR / ₹) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Prices are subject to change at any time without prior notice. Changes do not affect orders already confirmed and paid for.
- We make every effort to ensure pricing accuracy. In the event of an obvious pricing or typographical error, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund, even if the order has been confirmed. We will contact you before doing so.
- Promotional prices, discounts and coupon codes are valid only for the stated period and subject to their own conditions. Offers cannot be combined unless expressly stated.
5. Product Availability
All products are subject to availability. We may limit quantities, discontinue any product, or restrict sales to any person or region at our discretion.
If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will notify you and issue a full refund for the unavailable item.
6. Orders and Acceptance
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. Your order is accepted only when we send you a dispatch confirmation. An order confirmation email acknowledges receipt but does not by itself constitute acceptance.
We reserve the right to refuse, limit or cancel any order, including where:
- The product is unavailable or incorrectly priced
- We suspect fraudulent, abusive or unauthorised activity
- The delivery address is outside our serviceable area
- The order appears to be placed by a reseller or in unusual bulk
- Payment cannot be verified
Where we cancel a paid order, a full refund is issued to the original payment method.
7. Payment
All orders on BangleCart are prepaid. We accept UPI, debit cards, credit cards, net banking and supported digital wallets through secure third-party payment gateways.
We do not currently offer Cash on Delivery (COD).
You confirm that any payment instrument used is lawfully yours and that you are authorised to use it. Orders are processed only after payment is successfully confirmed.
8. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping, delivery timelines, tracking and delivery exceptions are governed by our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Delivery timelines are good-faith estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by courier partners or by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
9. Returns, Refunds and Cancellations
Returns, refunds, exchanges and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Return Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
10. User Accounts
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at info@banglecart.in of any unauthorised use.
You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information. We may suspend or terminate any account that we reasonably believe contains false information or has been used in breach of these Terms.
11. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, accounts or data
- Introduce viruses, malware or any harmful code
- Copy, scrape, harvest or systematically extract our content, images or product data
- Interfere with or disrupt the website, its servers or security features
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation
- Resell our products commercially without written authorisation
- Submit false, abusive, obscene, defamatory or misleading content, including in reviews
We may terminate your access for breach of this section.
12. Reviews and User Content
By submitting a review, photograph, comment or other content, you grant BangleCart a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, publish, adapt and display that content in connection with our business, including in marketing.
You confirm the content is your own, is accurate, and does not infringe any third party's rights. We may edit, refuse to publish, or remove any submitted content at our discretion. We are under no obligation to keep any submission confidential.
13. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including the BangleCart name and logo, product photographs, product descriptions, text, graphics, page layout, and design — is the property of BangleCart or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, republish or commercially exploit any part of it without our prior written permission.
14. Third-Party Links and Services
Our website may contain links to third-party websites and integrate third-party services, including payment gateways, courier tracking and review platforms. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies or practices. Your dealings with them are solely between you and that third party.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
The website and all products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, except those that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that any defect will be corrected.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BangleCart, its owners, employees and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising from your use of the website or any product purchased.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to an order shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for that order.
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
17. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BangleCart and its owners, employees and agents from any claim, demand, loss, liability or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the website.
18. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, floods, fire, epidemic, pandemic, war, civil unrest, strikes, courier or supplier failure, power or internet outage, or any act or restriction of government authority.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The current version is always available on this page with its "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Please review this page periodically.
21. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi, India.
